What you will experience
At CASSINI Space Camp in the Czech Republic, participants will dive into a 9 days of hands-on science, team challenges, and expert-led workshops in space technology, space industry and business, and various satellite applications. The camp includes excursions to top-tier Czech research centers like the HiLASE laser lab and Extreme Light Infrastructure ERIC, as well as visits to ESA BIC Brno and local observatories. The participants are going to explore how satellites collect data or how to build a meteorological Arduino station. To increase the flow of knowledge, panel talks with scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and other space-related professionals are going to be arranged. Evenings feature astronomy nights, science shows, and creative downtime in the prepared Chill & Development Zone. To unwind and connect, a guided hike, stargazing, and a bonfire under the stars will offer the perfect balance to the camp’s intense learning and hands-on activities.
The Space Camp is free of charge for the participants!
Application Process
To apply for the Czech CASSINI Space Camp, you won’t need to write a traditional motivational letter. Instead, we have prepared a short motivational form designed to help us get to know you better without being unnecessarily intrusive. You will be asked to answer a few simple questions. Please use clear, structured sentences. Think of it as a guided version of a motivational letter. You do not need to be scared of bad grammar or the formality of the language - just be yourself.
You can fill the motivational form in English or Czech, there is also the Czech translation of the form available in the link above.
