As we mark the conclusion of an exhilarating chapter, we're thrilled to share the incredible 6-month journey and phenomenal accomplishments of Batch 1 in the CASSINI Business Accelerator programme. Their dedication, innovation, and resilience have truly set the bar high, culminating in remarkable milestones and paving the way for boundless growth in the space-tech industry. We can summarise this Batch in four key achievements:

Sales Soar to Stellar Heights 📈🛰️

Although the EU Space scene faces global competition, startups & scaleups continue to work with robust sales pipelines that need a strategic approach. Throughout the programme, these forward-thinking companies collectively generated an impressive 1709 sales leads! The quality of these leads shines through the conversion of 775 prospects into tangible opportunities, resulting in an impressive 234 sales deals.

Empowering Financial Growth 📊💰

Talk about impact! The sales deals secured during the programme accumulated to a remarkable €24 million in total value. Notably, €3 million stemmed solely from new customer sales, demonstrating not just revenue growth but also a diversified client portfolio—an essential component for sustainable business expansion.

Fueling Success through Funding 🌐💼

The companies didn't just stop at sales revenue; they excelled in securing funding too. Equally noteworthy is the successful acquisition of €13 million in public funding and a remarkable €31 million in equity-based funding, solidifying their financial stability and potential for future growth.

Empowering Employment & Society 👩‍🚀🌍

Beyond sales and revenue, the programme also contributed to societal growth. The Batch companies grew in size with a total of 177 new full-time positions added in the past 6 months. Highlighting their commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and empowerment, 20% of these workforces identified as female. The accomplishments of Batch 1 exemplify the transformative impact of the CASSINI Business Accelerator, showcasing its role in fostering substantial growth and innovation within the space-tech sector in Europe.
