After a highly competitive selection of over 110 applications, we are beyond excited to welcome 20 companies to our fourth batch of CASSINI Business Accelerator! Their expertise encompasses both upstream and downstream space applications, ranging from disaster management systems and geospatial analysis to space propulsion technologies and payload hosting solutions. 

The cohort will run from November 2024 to April 2025. During this period, the CASSINI Business Accelerator will help startups boost their commercial growth through a blend of initiatives. Participants will benefit from training sessions and tailored mentoring from industry experts, aimed at offering essential support on their innovation journey. Moreover, the programme provides space entrepreneurs direct access to investor matchmaking and other events, fueling further opportunities for expansion and development.

2NDSPACE (Italy), is a fast-growing company specializing in nanosatellite subsystems and platforms. The company sees a strong opportunity to transform the satellite industry through its Satellite-as-a-Service model, offering rental access to its high-tech, multi-functional satellites.

Aistech Space (Spain) specializes in Earth observation through a proprietary constellation of satellites, focusing on the thermal spectrum. Their technology provides high-resolution thermal imagery and data to clients across industries, enabling improved decision-making processes.

Applied Aerial Technology (Ireland) is a leading provider of advanced geospatial solutions, specializing in forestry and environmental monitoring. Using EO technologies, the company provides precise and actionable insights for sustainable forest management.

B2SPACE (Spain) is the only European private company carrying out operations in the stratosphere with a marketable solution for carrying out Near Space Testing, HAPS missions (EO, Communications) or for packaged defence solutions.

Dronetag (Czech Republic) is drone visibility technology that brings control, compliance and situational awareness to any airspace or UAV. Its ecosystem of advanced hardware and software makes digitally advanced skies an overnight possibility for fleet managers, public safety units, defence services and drone pilots.

embedded ocean (Germany) is a software company founded in 2020 with the mission to drive next-level industrial productivity, resource efficiency and resiliency for Germany, Europe, and the world, enabling the Fourth / Fifth Industrial Revolution.

German Orbital Systems (Germany) is a leading provider of innovative CubeSat solutions in the European space industry. With a strong focus on designing, manufacturing, and operating cutting-edge satellite platforms, the company specializes in providing end-to-end services.

Hightek (Italy) is a startup and OEM specializing in advanced aerial vision systems and mission intelligence for natural disaster management, integrating real-time aerial, satellite, and geolocation data with cutting-edge decision-support software to enhance coordination and optimize disaster response.

Hydra Space Systems (Spain) develops efficient, low-power, narrow-band, satellite communications technologies to connect sensors in remote regions. Moreover, the company developed its own, small satellite platform to implement IoD projects.

Infinite Orbits (France) provides GEO in orbit services. The team designs, develops and operates “servicers” offering to GEO operators different services to optimize and/or extend their fleet such as inspection and life extension services.

ION-X (France) is a startup founded in 2021, specializing in the manufacturing of cutting-edge electric propulsion systems for small satellites. It is a one-place shop to optimize the value of your assets on-orbit.

Kermap (France), a leader in AI and geo-intelligence, provides advanced environmental data solutions to private companies, large corporations, and government institutions. Its flagship product, NIMBO, uses satellite data for predictive analytics, empowering regenerative agriculture and strategic planning.

Oledcomm (France) is the leader in optical wireless communications solutions for space defence and industrial uses. It revolutionizes the world of wireless connectivity by providing high-speed solutions that go beyond the ordinary.

Revolv Space (Italy) designs, manufactures, and tests next-generation mechanisms and power systems for small satellites, ensuring uninterrupted payload availability. Their high-performance, fail-safe Solar Array Drive Assemblies (SADAs) range from 100W to 5kW - double the satellite's available power.

Sensar (Netherlands) identifies risks related to displacements of the soil, surface and infrastructure. The company enables customers to perform maintenance of their assets exactly on time and to make accurate plans for the future. Thereby, contributing to lower costs, increased safety, livability and accessibility.

Space Composite Structures Denmark (Denmark) is a company dedicated to space technologies. It designs, manufactures, tests, integrates, and verifies structures for satellites and spacecraft – a one-stop shop for space structures, all in-house.

SpaceLocker (France) makes sensor deployment in orbit simpler, faster and more sustainable thanks to shared space missions powered by a universal interface technology. It allows its customers to improve their offering, increase efficiency and enhance security.

Sternula (Denmark) is a young European satellite operator providing affordable, secure and satellite-based AIS 2.0 connectivity for a range of use cases within maritime digitalization. Sternula enables safety at sea and helps shipping companies to save costs and reduce pollution.

TALOS (Germany) creates an "Internet of Animals" using a constellation of CubeSats and miniature IoT sensors. This innovative network leverages animal intelligence to pioneer a new approach to environmental monitoring.

WeavAir (Poland) is transforming how financial institutions and fund managers assess ESG performance through innovative data analytics. By leveraging satellite imagery, predictive AI models, and advanced decision support systems, they deliver real-time, highly accurate data that enhances investment decisions.

The CASSINI Business Accelerator programme is part of the European Commission's CASSINI Initiative, designed to support the space ecosystem and investments. Launched in January 2023, the CASSINI Business Accelerator is the biggest space startup accelerator in Europe.
