Another one for the books! Batch 2 recently completed their 6-month accelerator programme with the CASSINI Business Accelerator and the results are striking, to say the least.

Despite facing global competition, the startups and scaleups of CASSINI Business Accelerator have maintained strong sales pipelines through a strategic and forward-thinking approach. During the programme, companies participated in various sales and business development-related workshops and catered mentoring opportunities. The results speak for themselves, these innovative companies generated an impressive 4,602 sales leads. The quality of these leads is evident, with 1,658 qualified prospects turning into concrete opportunities, leading to an outstanding 127 sales deals.
Driving Financial Growth 📊💲
All about sales! These sales deals secured during the programme translated into € 24.4 million in total value, from this amount, € 8.2 million were exclusively from new customer sales. These numbers underscore the programme's effectiveness not only in driving sales revenue but also in broadening the client portfolio, a critical asset to sustainable business growth.
Accelerating Growth with Funding 🚀📈
Not only did these startups exceed sales expectations, but their funding activities are very noteworthy as well. The startups collectively secured €117 million in equity-based funding and €20 million from other sources of private funding (i.e. business loans, etc.) during the 6-month programme.
Notable rounds closed during the CASSINI Business Accelerator were a €1.5M investment round for 10Lines, $1M awarded to DCUBED to develop in-space manufacturing, €1.1M in funding for Ecosmic, €27M in Series B for Latitude, €1.63M in Seed Funding for SPiN, €85M in Series C for Unseenlabs, and €2M in funding for WaltR. A round of applause for these stellar achievements!
Boosting Employment and Social Impact 👩🚀🌍
The programme's impact extends beyond sales and revenue, fostering societal growth as well. Over the past six months, Batch 2 companies expanded their teams by adding 165 new full-time positions. Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and empowerment, 24% of these new hires are women. This employment creation adds to the programme's societal return on investment.
