Are you ready to develop solutions to shape the future of health? The 9th CASSINI Hackathon provides training, mentoring, and inspiration to power your next project. Could you be part of Austria’s next space tech start-up? Big ideas start right here…
Join this event to hear from national experts in health and space technology. Watch our online training sessions and learn to use the data from Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo. Bring or join a team, and develop a solution for one of three challenges:
- Monitoring disease outbreaks and health risks
- Enhancing smart emergency healthcare delivery
- Supporting mental health and well-being
Austria has a thriving space economy, with successful startups like blackshark.AI and GATE Space built on space tech. Along with a new ESA Idea Factory in Vienna, we have a ground-based facility in Innsbruck which is operated by the Austrian Space Forum – an international leader and the organiser for this Hackathon.

- 1st place: €5,000

The top 3 teams across all competing hackathons will each be awarded an additional 6 months of expert mentoring.

The Austrian Space Forum was set up in 1998 to support lunar and Mars missions. It’s a non-profit group focused on research and innovation, with an international network of more than 250 members. By providing connections to stakeholders and investors, the organisers will provide sustainable opportunities to the winners of this CASSINI Hackathon.
