Join the Hackathon in Budapest!

Interested in space technology? Learn how to utilise it and design a solution to make Europe safer and stronger.  The 8th CASSINI Hackathon provides training, mentoring, and inspiration to build your own solution and – maybe – be involved in your own space startup. Big ideas start inside the Hackathon…

Registration is free, and anyone can join – no experience necessary. Come along (in person or virtually) to hear from national experts in business and space technology. Watch our training sessions and delve into the vault of EU space data from Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo. Bring or join a team, and develop a solution for one of three challenges:

  1. Enhancing Defence & Security with Geospatial Intelligence
  2. Unmanned Drone Applications for Defence & Security Operations
  3. Orbital Security: Navigating the Collision Frontier

Our local organiser, Design Terminal Powered by Civitta, has already worked with startups utilising space data or drones to increase security – but the scope of possibilities is huge. Participants in this Hackathon could develop solutions to support our critical infrastructure, mitigate risk, or monitor our airspace.

Take this exciting opportunity to build a stronger, safer Europe and be a part of our thriving space ecosystem. Join us in Budapest between 22nd-24th November and discover the vast potential of EU space data.
