Are you ready to develop solutions to shape the future of health? The 9th CASSINI Hackathon provides training, mentoring, and inspiration to power your next project. Could you be part of France's next space tech start-up? Big ideas start right here…
Join this event to hear from national experts in health and space technology. Watch our online training sessions and learn to use the data from Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo. Bring or join a team, and develop a solution for one of three challenges:
- Monitoring disease outbreaks and health risks
- Enhancing smart emergency healthcare delivery
- Supporting mental health and well-being
Strasbourg and the Grand Est region has a thriving business ecosystem, with world-class institutions like the University of Strasbourg, hospitals and advanced medical research centres. It is also home to biotech companies, pharmaceutical leaders, and space start-ups. One of these – Leanspace – was funded by ISU alumni and now employs 30 people.

The International Space University (ISU) has a global reputation and collaborates with leading space organisations around the world. ISU’s 5,600+ graduates have become astronauts, entrepreneurs, and space industry leaders in 110 countries.
As part of the Hackathon weekend, ISU will host interactive sessions where participants can engage with entrepreneurs from the healthcare sector to make connections and spark creativity.
